Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani has chosen former Virginia gubernatorial candidate Jerry Kilgore to lead his campaign team in Virginia. Kilgore's statement endorsing Giuliani calls the candidate a "real fiscal conservative."

Giuliani has been working on making inroads in Virginia and has reached out to evangelical Christian voters.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion?He spoke at Pat Robertson's Regent University in June.

The Regent appearance was an important step for a candidate whom many conservative voters view with skepticism because of his liberal stances on social issues like gun control, abortion and gay rights.
