Family members of a 4-year-old girl who was left at a Chuck E. Cheese's in Woodbridge say it was an accident and they want her back. The girl, Taizhae Carroll, told Prince William County authorities her name is "Taji" when restaurant workers called police on Sunday evening.

The girl's aunt, 18-year-old Ieesha Carroll, says her niece was at Chuck E. Cheese's for a cousin's birthday party and was mistakenly left behind.

She calls it "just a big mistake."

A spokeswoman for the restaurant chain says the girl walked up to an employee at 8 p.m. Sunday and said she couldn't find her mother. The girl is in custody of Child Protective Services.

I don't know if this is a true case of abandonment, however, that doesn't mean that someone was truly careless in making sure this child was with whomever she was suppose to leave with. Like I said in the post that supposedly got deleted--the child should have been in atleast a booster seat. If the person didn't have a booster seat for her the father shouldn't have let the girl ride in the car without one. The girl whereabouts could have been determined before they left the parking lot if they all left at the same time. If not, the father or whomever the girl came to the party with should have made it known that they were leaving and handed the little girl over and that person should have been with that childs every move.

Too many people visit these establishments and turn the kids loose to run-a-muck, UNSUPERVISED. Luckily, no one took this child to be never heard or seen again. And besides, this world is getting sicker by the day--why risk someone taking her or doing something to her that you'll have to live with. All parents need to keep a watchful eye on their kids.
