i live one block away from the shaw metro. i have lived here for over 15 years. i am a white female. i don't go to the metro b/c there are 'predators' waiting to jump you. its been this way for some time now. someone was shot and killed there less than a year ago. when is metro going to do something about this? maybe a camera or guard? it sucks!! and yes, its race related...!

I don't call it a rash.. I call it an epidemic and it's only going to get worse. One would have to be out of their skulls to consider living and raising a family in D.C..

Well, fret not, DC residents. The Parker case will probably be heard this coming year, and if everything goes all right, you will be able to legally own, and or carry a firearm for self-defense. Who cares what your incompetent buffoon mayor Fenty says....

So rejoice, DC residents, your deliverance is at hand...

The fact they are using machetes tell you something about the perpetrators.

And they say DC residence shouldn't have firearms? If these guys were shot on sight then the muggings would stop pretty quick.
