D.C Police Investigate Two Bizarre Shootings, One of a Teenager

D.C. police are investigating two violent early morning shootings in northeast, one of a 15-year old boy.   Police say the first shooting happened around 3:00 a.m. Thursday morning on the 600 block of Eastern Avenue, northeast.  

Officals say the 15-year-old male victim was shot in the back.  The teen was able to  tell authorities that he saw a crowd of people coming towards him, and when he began to run away, he was shot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police are also investigating a similar shooting just a short distance away.   Investigators say a man was shot at 35th and Blaine Streets, northeast shortly before 4:00 a.m.

The adult male victim told police that he was on the street when he saw a crowd coming towards him and he tried to run, but was shot.

The victim told authorities, he has no idea who shot him.

Police have no motive or suspect in either shooting.
