Former Lewinsky Lawyer Appointed for Palfrey

The accused "D.C. Madam" has a new lawyer, and he has some experience with high-profile Washington scandals.
A judge has appointed Preston Burton to represent Deborah Jeane Palfrey in her criminal case. Burton was one of the lawyers who represented Monica Lewinsky during the Clinton impeachment investigation. He also represented confessed spy Robert Hanssen.
U.S. District Judge Gladys Kessler granted Palfrey's request last week to appoint a new attorney because of "irreconcilable differences" between Palfrey and her original court-appointed public defender, A.J. Kramer.
